Remove New Products from shopping cart

When I clear the shopping cart a page is displayed letting me know the shopping cart is empty. On this page a box is displayed showing me the 'new' products for <current month>. I want to remove this box from the page. I have gone into configuration index listing and turned off all of the New Products listings, but it is still there. Where can I turn this listing off?

Hi...
I just tried to remove the New Products from my shopping cart but even after i change everything to '0' it still appears...am I doing something wrong?

if you click on that "rainbow"-button and get to the A1Rcart-page and scroll down there you will still see "New products for 'October'" and "monthly specials for 'October'"...i don't have any specials or new products...at least not now...

I can see New Products and Monthly Specials on your index page, but not your shopping cart page.

If you want to turn them off for your index page, it's..

Admin -> Config -> Index Listing -> Show New Products on Main Page
Admin -> Config -> Index Listing -> Show Special Products on Main Page
