    Default UPS module not functioning

    I can't figure out why the UPS shipping module won't work. It's enabled for my store, and no shipping zone is specified. When I click on "shipping quote" from the cart, it doesn't appear, and when I go through to the payment area, it tells me that it can't get a quote from UPS.

    Any ideas?

    Make sure that you have the right shipping module installed:

    Make sure that you see it in the checkout_shipping ... even if there is an error ...

    Shipping Estimator will not show it when an error ... checkout_shipping will show it with the error ...

    The link you provided was for a USPS (United States Postal Service) patch - I'm having trouble with UPS (United Parcel Service). This store in based in Canada, so we're not sending anything via USPS.

    Also, I don't understand what you're referring to:

    Hate when I do that ...

    The UPS Shipping module that comes with Zen Cart is for shipping from the US ...

    If you wish to ship from Canada then you need the UPSXML module that is in the Wiki under the 3rd Party Add-ons ...

    Thank you for your guidance. I found, installed, and activated this shippiing method, but it's not showing up when I "estimate shipping" How can I troubleshoot it? Or do you have any ideas?

    Does this not show for both the Shipping Estimator and for the checkout_shipping page?

    If it shows on the checkout_shipping page, if you go back to the shopping_cart page does it now show in the Shipping Estimator as you are logged in?

    If so, if you now log out and add something to the cart, does it now stop showing in the Shipping Estimator?

    If so, if you fill in an address and click UPDATE does it now show in the Shipping Estimator even when not logged in?

    If so, it is working normally, as UPS and USPS etc. need an address to know how much to quote on shipping ...

    If not, then you are still broken ...

    thank you for all your help. It was good to get the instruction to look at both the shipping estimator and the checkout window, because I was given an error message in the checkout screen - I had put in an invalid province code, and it couldn't process the info!
