Disabled items show up in Featured Items

I know I have seen this thread somewhere, but I have searched and searched and have not been able to find an answer.

I have a recently installed Zen-Cart 1.3.8a with about 400 active SKU's and about a dozen items that I disabled yesterday.

Is this a cache issue to go away on it's own? Or is there a problem?

If I go to this category I see items in Featured Items that I disabled yesterday. You can see that they are not active items in that category and they do not exist in any other category.
