How to Define NEW PAGES

I have read both the handbook and I have searched under Tutorial on creating and defining new pages. I have not gotten much detailed information but only on how to use the existing Define Pages 2,3,4 which appear in the Tools section...and I know how to do that.

I am actually very curious on how to create my own pages from scratch. I've tried it but it has not worked yet. This is what I've done using the title 'aboutus':

- Added a define line item under the section: "[I]more information box text in sideboxes/more_information.php
