Internet Explorer + CSS issues

Hi everybody.

Recently, i was told that Internet explorer was not displaying my pages correctly.

In firefox, the page looks exactly the way i want it to. However, In IE, the page is displayed very strangely.

I have tried several changes to the CSS Stylesheet, but the changes dont appear to make any difference in the way the page is displayed.

Thanks for any tips you guys and gals might have for me.

Is it IE6 or IE7?

Both IE6 and IE7 aparently.

I am not that familiar with that template but suspect that the css with it has not been updated...

Interactively applying a later stylesheet I do not see the issues.

There is a IE specific stylesheet in the downloads section if that might be of interest.

appears you have 2 #mainWrapper in your css so the 2nd one is overriding the first

The only actual conflict there is in the margin. It is defined three different times, and the last is what controls:

#mainWrapper {

	background-color: #FFFFFF;

	text-align: center;

	margin-left: 10em;

	width: 900px;

	vertical-align: top;

	}

	
...
	

#mainWrapper {background-image: none;

              padding: 0;

			  margin: 0;}



#navColumnOneWrapper, #navColumnTwoWrapper, #mainWrapper {

	margin: auto;

	}

For simplicity and sanity you should gather all #mainWrapper declarations in one rule.
