Default Problem following the "How can I protect my site from malicious attack? FAQ..."

    Hiya,

I have just gone through the following tutorial:
"How can I protect my site from malicious attack? Security Recommendations"...

Renamed the admin folder etc... The problem I have now is that when I view http://www.domain.com/catalog/ this page doesnt show properly... the footer / the right side boxes etc arent showing correctly for some reason.

However if i click any links to the catalog on the left part of the nav bar which is displaying, then all other links show up fine with footers / right side boxes etc. Its as if the default page has somehow been corruped which is strange as ive only edited one file in catalog/admin/includes/configure.php as outlined in the guide...

    Any ideas ??

It worked fine before running through this routine... Admin page now works fine following it too..

    thanks

    Martin

Without a URL to see what is happening it is nearly impossible to troubleshoot.

    Hello,

Thanks for your reply. If you go here: http://www.ogdenequestrian.com/catalog/ you will notice there is no footer or boxes on the right side.

As soon as you click on for example the categories link for Horse Wear, you will see the footer appears and the normal boxes on the right that I am using.

    Any ideas??

    Thanks

    Martin

I don't see any problems with footers or sideboxes.
