Ultimate SEO URLs Does Not Work with Categories with Only One Product

I'm sorry if this is posted elsewhere, but I can't find it. My Ultimate SEO URLs mod works just fine, except for the fact that if a category only has one product in it, the link to that category takes me to a blank page. That is, the entire screen (minus the menu bars) turns white. I assume this is because when you click on the category in this circumstance, it attempts to open that product's description instead of a list of products. How do I fix this?

By default Zen Cart is set to skip one product categories.

If the page is not redirecting to the product page in this case then you have likely edited a language file and left a hard break (empty line) on the bottom.. and their should be none.

If the category pages as a whole are not displaying... same as above.

First, set
Configuration >> Layout Settings >> Skip 1-prod Categories

to FALSE and check if the category page in question now loads.

If it does, you have made an error.. as I said above likely in a related language file and it is inhibiting the redirect.

I would start with this.

Thanks, Melanie. I changed the setting and the list comes up. However, I'm not sure that I ever modified the language file, at least not recently. Is this possibly an Ultimate SEO URL error? If not, what files are the most likely culprits?

I would bet a bunch, this is NOT an SEO url problem.... as redirects happen outside of your Zen Cart at the account config level.

You have an error in the redirect function.
