Email image doesnt show at all - just says LOGO

Im having sooo much trouble with my emails... ive replaced the header image in the email folder and still for some reason all the emails, account and order confirmations wont show the image....

they only show the word LOGO.

it has never showed the zencart logo at all - just the text.

How do i fix this???

ive ready every logo post on this forum and cant find the solution

Checked and you do not have a logo.gif image at
/admin/images/logo.gif....

when i go to admin>tools>Email Welcome... it shows the logo just fine in the sample there... but it doesnt actually come thru on the email itself

i dont even get the broken image link

and ive even tried changing the link to the absolute: http://mammabellahkids.com.au/shop/email/header.jpg

Try opening access and tripple check folder & file permissions

That is the correct path.


If it's not showing when attempting to access it via other systems such as emails or IMG tags on other websites, then you've probably configured your webserver to block image "hotlinking". You'll need to turn that off to have your images accessible externally.

You'll likely find proof of this matter in your server's errorlogs ... it'll likely be showing a denied-access message when attempting to display your header.jpg image file from places other than your own webpages.

mmm i dont have hotlink protection enabled at all on the server... no record of it in the error log either...

good suggestion tho... do you have any more???

Could it be because you have your entire site password-protected and therefore nothing can see those image files?
