Banner and ads

Greetings All...

I am trying to get banners (Ads ) to show on my shop.

I have tried for 2 days to get them to show but having no joy.. am i missing summit.
Can someone please tell me which ones i need to activate to have banners showing on the right side of my shop. ( in Column Boxes )

There are 9 positions for the Banners, 3 of which are sideboxes ...

You need to activate the sideboxes you want to show in the Tools ... Layout Boxes Controller ...

You then need to set the Banner Groups in the Configuration ... Layout Settings ... for which ones you want displayed in the 9 Banner positions ...

Hate when that silly ol' code does what we code it for and not what we mean ...

Thanks for the update on the missing step for running the Banners was configuring the Banner settings in the Configuration ... Layout Settings ... so that the right Banner Group knew when to run where ...
