FedEx plus Handling Fee

I have set up a shopping cart and the FedEx module is working :) The client wants to continue to use FedEx for their online store as they have used that in their physical storefront for quite a while. Now, they also want to add a handling fee to every order. I am not sure how to add this. It's not an option for the customers to choose, it needs to be added after they've placed all their products in the cart (or at any time). What's the best way to do this? Thank you!

I set up a site a while back where we used the fedex surcharge to cover the cost of packing:

Fedex surcharge?
Surcharge amount to add to shipping charge?

It is in your fedex options.

Ok, this one still has me stumped. This is the only thing I need to get 'fixed' for the site to go live.

I got the handling fee added to the FedEx charge, but it's not really want I want.

In addition to the FedEx shipping options (the FedEx shipping module is set up and running correctly), I want an additional line item to appear with a flat charge added to all orders. It's a handling fee, but it can be called anything at this point, it just needs to be automatically added to the final cost of all orders, and appear as its own line item. This is not something the customer will need to select or will have a choice about. So how can I implement this? Thank you!

Just an update on this. I was not aware that Zen Cart has a low order fee --- and i was able to use this to accomplish what I needed. Based on this thread: https://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62840
