Unable to Create New Accounts

Customers going to my website are not able to create new accounts. When going through the process and clicking on the final button all that happens is that a blank page comes up. (Existing customers are able to log in though).

Any ideas on where to look for problems would be GREATLY appreciated.

Okay...I found the problem file. I have a new file in includes/languages/english/custom called create_account.php. This overrides the original file of course. By disabling that file I am now able to create accounts. So now I just need to go back and see where there are differences between the two files so that the functionality I was trying to create in the other file can be taken care of.

I had removed the line of text in the file referring to customers being able to review products. However...I had failed to add back a ")" to end the previous line now that the final line of the sequence was gone...consequently the file was broken and would not accept new accounts. I have not bothered yet to go back and re-do the file...just sticking with the original file for the moment until I have some spare time to make sure I don't mess it up again.
