    Default Setting up basic Attributes

    Alright, heres the deal...

My store has Jeweled-Lid Jar Candles with 3 different lid designs..

I tried to follow this thread: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=57 After following it I am still confused. It should be broken down more imo

I set up my "Option Name" as Design. Then set up Option Value with the 3 different designs. The Option Type is set for the drop done menu. I try inserting this into the product listing...all is good...

except when it's listed it lists Design "radio Button" and one Option Value, with no drop down menu.

    see issue here: http://themccormickshop.com/index.ph...products_id=34

Any ideas? what did I miss? I just want to be able to list the different designs, they are all the same price...

Also, ho do I get an image of each option to appear when selected? or Do I have to list one picture with all items instead?

Dropdowns, when there is only 1 Option Value added, automatically revert to a selected Radio Button as there isn't another choice ...

When a second Option Value is added to the Option Name group on the Product, it will automatically revert back to a Dropdown ...

I'm having a similar problem, I'm trying to do this but it's not working. I want to sell candy bar favors wrapped for one price and the wrappers only for another price. They both have an option name and amount, but when I view it it's only showing one of them as a radio button but it has no value, I put a price on the item itself which I don't know if I should've done that. All I'm trying to do is give a choice for the same item, wrapped favor $1.65 Wrapper only $1.10. I've been at this for hours someone PLEASE HELP!!

You really want 1 Option Name with multiple Option Values ...

    Option Name: Wrappers
    Option Type: Dropdown

    Option Value: With Wrapper
    Default Sort Order: 10

    Option Value: Without Wrapper
    Default Sort Order: 20

(and I like to make a default that is not selectable)
Option Value: Pick One ... (or something appropriate)
    Default Sort Order: 0

Then add each of these Option Values to the Product and set the:
Option Value: Pick One ... (or something appropriate)
    Display Only: YES
    Default: YES

You can then click on the Update Sort Order and they will be sorted based on the Default Settings ...

What version of Zen Cart are you running?

Is this a Clean install or an Upgrade?

    How did you install it?

It sounds like you are missing fields in the database table(s) that have been part of Zen Cart since forever ...
