featured products help

im reposting this to get a better response.

i want a certain few select products to show in the featured products, how do i do this please?

Go to the Catalog ... Featured Products ... and add those few select products as Featured Products ... and voila!

will the product remain as part of the entire catalog or will it only show up in teh featured products?

Featured Products only enable the products to be included in an additional Featured Product Listing, Featured Product Sidebox, Featured Product Centerbox ...

As to the rest of the Catalog, the Featured Products behave in the same manner as a Product that is not marked as a Featured Product ...

btw do you know anything about moving the add to cart box location?

Copy your tpl_product_info_display.php to your templates and overrides directory and then find the section marked off for the Add to Cart button and move it to where you want it ...

already tried that many times, i get syntax errors. and no i did not do it wrong i moved everything accordingly and it still messes up. any other way?

I have some "specials" and some "featured" products.

I have the sideboxes activated for both.

The specials sidebox appears for the main page, any category pages and info pages, but does not appear for the product listing pages.
This is how I want my featured products sidebox to appear, but it always shows on the product listing page. Where can I shut this off?
