Don't understand how to get rid of zen ads have read faq's

Hi I am so new to all of this. I have managed to get a banner up on my site, I have the site configured mostly and it is almost up and running. Now I'm at the time old question of how to get rid of the Congrats you have installed zen cart and the sidebox's with ads of zen. I read the faq's about capitalization and don't understand a word of it. Can you refer me to where it is expained a little bit easier. yes I am new to css.

Admin/tools/banner manager. Turn them off there or delete.

Thanks so much, got that done and now understand the banner system a bit more. Now all I have left is the" You Have successfully installed Zen Cart. Where do I go to shut that off??" I read about that too but did not understand about something in Capitals.

I see what it is saying about removing that text, so do I just go there and change it in includes/language/english/index.php or is there more to it then that?

Yep - That's it! Remove it from the line in the english.php file and it's gone from the front page.

Please use the override system when making changes. Save the modified index.php to includes/languages/english/YOUR_TEMPLATE (where YOUR_TEMPLATE is the name of your custom template).

Anywhere you see a /classic/ folder, you can create a folder for your custom template. You can copy the necessary files from either the /classic/ folder, the /template_default/ folder or the parent folder.

Edit includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/template_info.php to give your template identifying information so you'll recognize it in the admin under tools->template selection.

If you don't follow the overrides (template) system, all your changes will be lost with the next upgrade/update.

Replace the folder name in capital letters (like YOUR_TEMPLATE in my example above) with whatever name you choose to give your template.
