EMail Addresses

From searching the forum there seems to be no way of sending an email via Zen Cart to non-customers. Is there really no mod or hack that will turn off the "Customer: Please Select" field and just have it as a direct entry field for any email address?

I really want to send replies to queries via the zencart shop but at present cannot....

Any suggestions?

At the present time, that is correct.
You can send gift certificates to manually-entered email addresses, but not general emails.
That feature may be added in a future release.

Have you already programming the code, that the admin can send an e-mail to a free e-mail address?

If so, can you write how?
