    Default Zone Rate shipping not working for Spain

    Hi!

    I need help with a problem I have not been able to fix. The problem is the following:

    I use Zone Rates for my international shipping. For some reason it works for all countries except for Spain. I do have the correct ISO code for the country : ES.

    I have tried entering the code as : ES, Es, es, I also tried adding SP just in case, but nothing seems to work. During checkout, customers who specify their country as Spain, are unable to proceed past the shipping calculation step, because the shopping cart does not recognize their country and does not calculate any shipping for them.

    Can anybody offer any advice?

    Could you paste the settings you are using for your various Zones here?

    The idea is to Copy & Paste so we can look for odd typos ...

    Yes, sure, here it is , Spain is my first zone all by itself since it is the "troublemaker"

    Also, what is suppose to happen after 5lbs? Right now, it looks like free shipping as nothing is defined ...

    Are you repeating the rate for 1, 2 and 3lbs for any particular reason?

    Yes, I am repeating the rate for a reason and I do not have anything that can go over 5 pounds, even when multiple items are purchased.

    That is not my problem (I wish it were, it is a real easy one to fix). My problem is that zone rates do not work for Spain - that is the only country it doesn't work for. Everything else works great, but, I say again, it seems when a customer selects Spain as their country, I think somehow it is not getting recognized, because the shopping cart during checkout cannot go past the shipping step.

    I can set up my test site for Spain ...

    What version of Zen Cart are you running?

    Clean install or an Upgrade?

    What do you see on the Version information in the Tools ... Server Info ...

    Do you see Spain in your list of Countries?

    Can you browse your database via phpMyAdmin and sort on the ISO codes and check for duplicates?

    Can you check your address book table and make sure that it has the right codes in it for your test account for Spain?

    Clean install or an Upgrade?---------------- It was an upgrade from version 1.2.6

    What do you see on the Version information in the Tools ... Server Info ...

    Do you see Spain in your list of Countries? Yes, I do, I checked it!!

    Can you browse your database via phpMyAdmin and sort on the ISO codes and check for duplicates? Yes, I did check, and there were no duplicates.


    Can you check your address book table and make sure that it has the right codes in it for your test account for Spain?
    I did get into the address book but I do not know how to check for the right codes - would you give me a hint?

    There was a bug, many moons ago, that did this and it was fixed ...

    Are you sure all of the files on the server are current and up to date with the v1.3.8a files?

    On checking the address_book you would want to make sure the right data is in the:
    entry_postcode
    entry_city
    entry_state
    entry_country_id
    entry_zone_id

    fields for the record ...

    I do believe all files on the server are current with the 1.3.8.a version, but how can I check that to be 100% sure?

    I checked the address book and all data appears to be correct, The ID assigned to Spain for all countries is 195, and for zone_ID for the customers from Spain I see different values, I guess they depend on where in Spain the customer is from, and the ones I see for zone_ID are: 131, 152, 161, 162. I am not quite sure where to look to make sure these numbers are correct
