Shipping Charge Query

Hello there,

Basically what I'm after is to assign two shipping charges to my products, one for large items, and one for smaller items.

I intend to only use a flat rate charge for each as I'm only shipping within the UK (currently only one zone).

(Small) Product A -> £15 flat rate shipping charge, no matter how many of them are ordered.
(Large) Product B -> £50 flat rate shipping charge, no matter how many of them are ordered.

If these are mixed then I want the £50 flat rate charge to be used.

I quite new to this, and not sure how to go about setting this up. I've tried assigning per unit charges, but as you probably already know, they charge per unit, and thus my customers would have a huge shipping bill if they bought more than one large item.

Can anyone help me with this? I'm willing to use a shipping module as well to get the job done.

Hi,

For anyone who stumbles across this thread and is wondering how to bypass this particular problem, I solved it by using this shipping module: http://dev.ceon.net/web/zen-cart/advshipper

It allowed me to create specific flat charges on a product by product basis as well as by zone.

Just my two cents.
