help question Add EZ Pages to Site Map Mod

    Hi all,

I installed this mod, but none of my EZ pages are showing up in my sitemap.

Does it have anything to do with the fact that I renamed the site map to 'Store Map'? <Edit: To clarify, I changed the name of the link from site map to store map. The file name is still define_site_map.php>

Are there any limitations for this mod as to which EZ pages will display on the map and which ones won't?

For example, most of my EZ pages are set to not display in the sidebox, header and footer because they are linked to from within other pages (i.e. a define page, or another ez page) in the store.

    Suggestions?

help question Re: Add EZ Pages to Site Map Mod

Ok, I found part of the problem. Within the mod itself, one of the directory folders is misnamed.

    Instead of being includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/templates

    it is

    includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/template

I moved the file and some of the EZ pages are now showing up on the site map.

It appears this mod will only display EZ pages on the site map that are turned on for the sidebox. Any page that I don't want displayed in the sidebox won't appear on the site map.

Is there a work around for this?

Here's my reasoning - I want my store to be a part of my website, but not the whole website. My intent is to create EZ pages with links (vs. content) to link to pages outside the store. I'd like those to be included in the site map so I don't have to have both a store map and a site map for my site.

If I'm able to accomplish this, I'll change the name of the link from store map back to site map.

You're going a long way around this. Why not just add the links to other parts of the store directly to the list in the sitemap page template?

Because I didn't realize I could, but now that you mention it, it makes perfect sense! Thanks for the easy solution!

help question Re: Add EZ Pages to Site Map Mod

Ok, another question. In looking at the template file, I see the links configured this way:

    <li><?php echo '<a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_PRIVACY) . '">' . BOX_INFORMATION_PRIVACY . '</a>'; ?></li>

Since the extra links I'll be adding are not php files (just your run of the mill .htm files, how would I code that?

Let's say I want to add something that looks like this:

Complimentary Services (this is a section heading, not a link)
    Daily Horoscope (link)
    Daily Rune (link)
    blah (link)
    blah (link)
    blah (link)

Can I do this with straight html code or do I need to combine some php and html? If so, any sample code you wish to offer would be greatly appreciated

Also, if I understand you correctly, you're saying that this is how I can add links to the site map without using EZ pages?

Straight HTML would be fine. Just leave out the PHP tags and code the links as you would normally.
