Quantity Discounts, Specials, and Sales

I have quantity discounts applied to all products. At the moment I have a storewide 15% off sale as well. There is also a group of producst on special. It seems that with both the special and the sale, if the special or sale price is below the quantity discount percentage, it doesnt apply the quantity discount at all. How can I make these three interact better?

What I did was, instead of choosing 'actual price' for the quantity discounts, you have to choose by 'percentage' for your quantity discounts, and then choose Discounted price from: 'Special', instead of from 'Price'......this will then automatically reduce all your quantity pricing by whatever percentage you put in...for the special, and when the special expires it will automatically revert back to discounting your original price. Cool eh!
