after translating site doesn't work

hy!
i have set up zencart on aaa.bali.hr

i opened includes/languages/english.php and translated it to croatian and changed encoding to utf8.
after uploading to server via fillezila, i get errors, can't login normally (probably "headers already sent", i don't know).
i folowed instructions from http://www.srw2d.com/content/english...-1-files-utf-8 but without success.

i tried returning original english.php and everything is fine.

then i tried this: using dreamweaver, i opened original english.php and go to Modify->Page properties and change encoding to utf-8. i save the file and upload to server and problems begin. And all i did was changed encoding.

the best part is i login using username and pass, i get a blank screen and hit Back button in Firefox twice and i'm logged in...
