Image Magnifier

Have fun playing with this, and this is by no mean a final product, use as your own risk. No documentation yet. Not compatible with lightbox, slimbox etc... Do not use along side with those.

I have installed the magic zoom. The only thing I am missing is the ability to zoom large/close enough . Previously my Ajax zoom magnify was enlarging nice and big before now this thing only zoom a little. Further more , the main image area, all the images gets distorted as they all do not fit proportionally. Having previously image handler2 (used for uploading images only) also gets disabled (automatically without warning) when you install Magic zoom. And some of the images I can not get it to set to default positions as they seem to disappear.

Ideally what I like to see is a zoom like this, meaning magic Zoom or like the one zipped here then when you are magnifying the area of the main image if you click on it it would run my old Ajax zoom until I close. That would be the winner. That would really cool :-)

Installed..works fine until added 2 additional images..
then an extra rogue additional image is added..extra
to the 2 correct ones...shows as red cross with
incorrect code marked red below...

2 genuine additional images show/work correctly, as does

probably because of the code i added to pull out the main image in the additional image code.dont know why it doesnt work in your particular case tho

Could you possibly recheck code please?
If you add additional image to your test site..does similar
happen?

Yes it does, but if you add one additional image, an extra image also appears BUT as red cross...code incorrect( as per my post earlier), just for that one extra image.
Add 2 additional images, and 3 appear...2 correct and one red
cross, with code that does not match the other 2.....

The extra one is the main kmage itself. No idea why it doesn't work for you. I will take a look when I have time.

Misty, you should be able see my site as it is public. try again. Where can I see your demo please. I think I will take out my magic xoom soon so be quick to have a look so you can compare and let us know.

Considering my experience [zero] in php let alone javascript, it's amazing what can be achieved and leared frum frustrations and knowledge gained from zencart forums.
