Installing on home computer for backup/testing

I am running into problems setting up ZC, I tried IIS and xampp. Got a little further with xampp. All I want to do is set up a test site..eventually a copy cat of the live website...so I can make changes before actually making it live

Use wamp..much easier than those you have tried..
i.e
