I want to use Zen-cart to sell photographs, and frames/mounts.
Ideally a client would pick an image size, mounted or un-mounted (a choice of 8 option) this would create a set price. Then a percentage would be added to the set price, dependent on which of the 8 frame options is chosen.
Given it is not possible to have one option dependent on another (is it still impossible?) the only option I can see is to have all sizes, mount options and frames available in a single dropdown, that means 8 x 8 options 64 options.
The only way round this I can think of is to have two entries for each picture (one for mounted and one for un-mounted) which cuts the options to 32. Still this leaved me with a real problem if I can to expand the range of frames or sizes.
Ideally I don’t want to have multiple entries for each picture (at different size for example) the only alternative I can think of is to completely separate the purchase of images and frames, but this will rely on customers to make the connection between sizes.
Can anyone suggest another approach, any help would be much appreciated?
