Edit shipping address redirect

This question is is about when a customer wants to change their shipping address. An example would be to add a company name to take advantage of lower FedEx shipping. If they do not enter a company name they are charged for home delivery instead of the ground rate.

Right now if they click on "Change your Address" they are taken to the form to enter a new address instead of modifying the current one. They would have to go to "My Account" and click through to the address book in order to make this one simple change.

How would I modify the checkout page to make editing the ship to address easier?

Sorry- but you are going to have problems with that - The first address entered is the BILLING address and should match the information on the customer's credit card - if you change *that* address you will run into AVS matching problems.

I see your point however, they can change the address completely anyway. Most online sites have a way of correcting the address, I just want a way that doesn't have so many steps just to add a company name in order to qualify for cheaper freight.

Hi guy's, Is it at all possible to eleimnate the shipping address information. I would like not to give the customer this option, I only ship to the credit card registered address, is this possible to not have it available ??
