    help question Navigation Bar Issue

    HI,

    Complete Newb here
I have been working on my first Zen cart site, and have an issue with the Navigaton Bar and header links.

But first.. where do I find the file to put information on my home page? Ive spent ages looking and can't find it! I have temporarily made the index page to open, but (as you will see nothing is on it!) * I put the welcome guest message just so I could see the page)

Have a look at my site link..

    All "HOME" links"
The link on mouse over is pointing to index.php?main_page=index

The HOME link above the Nav Bar is pointing to my main domain url: http://healthsolutionstechnology.com.au/

And the HOME link in the Navigation bar is pointing to the EZY page I set up to try and get the info I want on the main page.

I want all of these links to display the same info, so where, what how do I get this information uniform?

You will also see that there is :: :: :: :: :: in my navigation bar which (I presume) is reeking havoc with the aligment of the links.

Again.. I have searched everywhere to try and find this pesky issue.

I would really appreciate any help with these issues.

    Cheers from Oz

You should be able to enter your home page info in admin > Tools > Define Pages Editor > define_main_page.php.

However, you appear to have a Template Monster template, and they are notorious for changing the code in odd ways and disabling standard Zen Cart functions. I have heard of TM templates that disabled define_main_page.php display.

The green navbar is a heavily modified ez-pages navbar. I don't know what is up with the Home link there, but the other two home links do point to the same place with slightly different methods.

The Home link in the green navbar is just pointing to an ez-page - it will never show up as your homepage.

There is some bad coding in that ez-pages nav, for the links to display as they do while the stock separators stay at the top of the bar.

    Thanks heaps!

    I hadn't defined the define_main_page.php

I deleted the ezy page I had made to link to HOME, but still have that pesky problem in the nav bar playing with the alignment.

In all good faith I purchased this Template Monster Template.

Never again... they won't even respond to my emails!

I appreciate the help that this forum brings to us newbs.
