ezpages & template

Hi all, i'm relatively new to zencart and thought i'd try it out with the freebie template from templatemonster. you can see it here: www.clearlycanvas.com/gallery/

I've been trying to get the ezpages to work - but for some reason it doesn't seem to switch on, in either the sidebars or the header or footer.

is it an issue in the template that any one knows off, or am I missing something? thanks

It's hard to say what TM has done, but if you temporarily switch back to the 'classic' template, do your EZ pages work?

I think i've figured it out, there was no sort order in, i put a 1 next to home and it now shows up!

Yup, that'll do it. EZ-pages require a sort order.

It's easy to forget the sort order. I've done it myself.

b*gger, fixing it has caused another problem. in the footer, i appear to have 2 'home' links!! any thoughts on this one??

I have the problem now, as above, that I have 2 home links showing at the footer, but not the header. this leads me to believe that something is telling the footer to put a home link in? seperately to the ezpages, which I have added a home page link to - if this so how do I turn it off? and if not, what is the issue???

I'm not sure what the issue is there. It appears the links are picking up the zenid which probably isn't good. I doubt it's the EZ-pages. It may be something in the template. Templatemonster has a habit of hardcoding some things.
