    Default bmz_cache permissions?

I have moved a site over to a Godaddy virtual dedicated server and am experience some random blank content. The left column and the header always show, but the main column and the footer only show up occasionally. If you click on the same link 5 times in a row it will show up once or twice.

I dled the php error logger and it seems that I am getting errors trying to write to the bmz_cache folder. I decided to clear out the old bmz cache to see if this would fix it, but no. When I try to enable all (777) using tunnelier (ftp client) it says I can't change permissions.

Any ideas? Is the bmz_cache even what's causing my problems Thanks.

I guess you fixed the problem as I have no problems with any image / pages.

Could be you have Browser cache problem and should use either CTRL + F5 or clear your Browser through its provided options; I don't know what Browser you are using and each has 'clear cache' in different locations.

The problem was not resolved, I just switched the site back to the old server until I figure out the problem.

I doubt that it is a browser issue since I am getting php error logs. And the error occurs on Chrome, IE and FF.

Sometimes you need to change permission thru cpanel, not ftp.
I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me

When I check my file system via turbopanel (godaddy cheap version of cpanel) I see that the bmx cache is controlled by the user "apache". I'm not sure if that is the reason that I can't change permissions on the files or not. I can change the permissions of the folders, but the files just don't change when I try.

I'm pretty sure this is an IH2 problem now, I'll try reinstalling that add-on.

Although I'm not sure how GoDaddy has their Hosting setup, but understand it is waayyy different from the norm, this is what I do know.

You cannot make changes to any files or directories not owned by yourself; at least, not in the normal way such as with an FTP program.

You will probably be better off to contact GoDaddy Hosting Support for these type problems.
