Known methods: NONSSL SSL

Before I was able to become a member, but when I was trying to log in it gave me messsage "There was a security error when trying to login". I followed the the rules and I added "security token" code, and right after that MyAccount Page shows error unable to determine connection. I have limited knowledge of programing. Please if someone knows what's the problem and if it is possible please explain step by step what to do. I have custom template installed.
