Weired index page estension

I was checking the google analytics for the website and noticed that a lot of our visitors are going to http://pipersparlor.com//.

Is there any idea what would be causing the double backslash? It's the highest exit page percentage we have. So I have no idea what is causing the double backslash and what to do about it.

Any ideas? I'm confussled on this one.


WARNING: This is a lingerie sales site. No different than frederick's or victoria's but don't want anyone at work getting in trouble.

Check your configure.php files and make sure to follow the guidlines built into those files regarding trailing slashes.

You may also want to check why www is not there either, unless you have SSL that is configured for http://pipersparlor.com and not http://www.pipersparlor.com

I checked the configuration.php and everything looks good.
One of my concerns is that the index page is also showing up as http://pipersparlor.com. I'm concerned the spiders are going to see it as duplicate content.


As far as the www the SSL is listed as pipersparlor.com, no www. That's also how the authorize.net certificate and the search engines it. I've thought about changing it because people are used to seeing the www. But since it's indexed without the www, I wouldn't want to do anything to mess that up.
