Need help with layout

I have seen other zen websites and have noticed on some of the websites it will show the price of an item, then it has their price and it shows what % discount this is, so it looks like the customer is getting a good deal. Is this an add on or how do I find out how to integrate this with my website.

You are probably referring to the "Specials" feature. This is set up using a product's PRICE MANAGER screen.

When you display the list of products in a given category (Cateory/Product manager), you will see an array of coloured circles with letters in them on the right of the screen.

For your chosen product, click the GREEN circle with a $ sign in it.

This opens up the Price Manager screen for that product, and you can set up a specials price there.

Alternatively, go directly to the Specials Manager console under

Admin>>>Catalog>>>Specials, and select your product(s) there.

You could also use: Admin > Configuration > Sale Maker

Discounts can be applied to individual Products or all Products within a selected Category, for whatever time period you choose.

Pricing will display as stated in original post.
