You're going to make a template for your own unique design, so go into "root/includes/templates" make a duplicate copy of the "Classic" folder in the same location (inside the templates folder) but with your unique template name, eg. "My_Site".

Go into this, your template folder to find "css/stylesheet.css"

Use any simple text editor, like Notepad, unless you have a web page editor like Dreamweaver. Do NOT use a word processor. Enter the code snippet I suggested. You could put it anywhere in there, but it's best to place it alongside, above or below, the "#logo..." snippet(s) already there so you'll know where to find it next time you want to play around.

Go into your Admin. on your site, swap the templates "Tools/Template Selection"

If you cannot see your template you will need to pop out for a moment to edit the following file... "root/includes/templates/My_Template/template_info.php" Again use a test editor to replace the entries in there, follow the instructions carefully, with your chosen template name and description so the Admin. function can find it.

Return to Admin templates, refresh if required and you ought to find your template as one of the options, choose it and, say the magic word "Presto!" the logo is a gonner!

I had the same problem, there is so much in the cart, and it doesn't initially seem to make sense until you've immersed yourself in it for a while.

I do recommend the book of Zen Cart (see adverts splashed all over the forum and the home page) as a good preliminary guide, then a couple of weeks solidly playing around with a test site or two to learn the key things you need.
