Strange order problem

Hi there

I hope someone can help.

We have a customer who has placed an order on our website.

We have received confirmation from Paypal that an order has been placed but there is no orders from them in the Zencart admin and when they log in to their account, according to the site, they have no orders.

This has only happened today for the first time.

I just wondered if someone might know what the problem might be..

The customer
... registered on the site, placed an order which then redirected them to paypal. We got a paypal confirmation and the paypal took them back to our site.
But no order showing up.

Strange!


we are using zencart version : Zen Cart 1.3.8a

I would imagine that Paypal did not issue back the IPN (I'm guessing your using IPn not express or Pro ) It is a known fault and occurs now and again . the IPN server may be slow issuing the IPN resposne too so you sometimes get the order details 6 hours after the order.
