Hosting question regarding Canadian Zen Cart store.

Dear all,

I have a Canadian based Zen Cart online store that is hosted in the UK. I've just read an article on Webmaster World which says to only host your website on a server in the country you are most likely to get orders from. Ie, mine would be Canada or USA. The article states that this will stop the website getting filtered out of country specific search results and will ensure quicker loads times.

Does anyone know if this is true and should I move my website to a Canadian Hosting company?
