How to: Buy 2 get 1 FREE, Buy 3 get 2 FREE?

Hey guys, thanks in advance for anyone that takes their time to read and answer this thread. The site is www.RareUncutDVDs.com I want to set it up so that people that purchase 2 movies, can get 1 FREE, and those who purchase 3 can get 2 FREE movies. The thing is I have no idea how to set this up, also.. we have some DVDs that are $30, and $50 dollars, but the FREE movies should only be the $20 dvds. Also, I was thinking that instead of one of the FREE movies, that we could give a $25 discount for our $50 dvd "Halloween 666 Workprint Edition."

I'm not really sure if it's all possible, but I appreciate your time! Thanks in advance and hope to hear from you guys soon..

I don't think you can do that with the standard Zen Cart setup, but check out Combination Discounts from That Software Guy.

Search for a add on called Better Together this will do what you are looking for

Not exactly ... Better Together is "Buy <one item> get <another item> at a discount." For "Buy 2 ... " or "Buy 3 ..." you need to use something else.

And what would be needed for that? I am also looking for this....

When ANY 3 products are added to cart, the cheapest one becomes FREE automatically. Not with a coupon code.

If 6 of ANY product is added, the 2 cheapest become FREE. Etc, Etc. Again, done automatically without requiring a coupon code.

Why "Response by email"? What's so private/confidential about the answer? Isn't Zen-Cart open source? Isn't the purpose of this forum exactly sharing knowledge (and code sometimes?)
