Integration with Retail Management System?

Hi, I'm a new Zenner and love what everybody has done with it. I'm excited to start using it. However, I have a brick-and-mortar store using Microsoft Retail Management System (RMS) for the POS solution. So of course I'm trying to figure out the best way to put the thousands of different products online and keep the inventory synchronized, like everyone else with both a brick-and-mortar and online store. I've seen discussions about this issue and haven't seen a good answer with Zen Cart yet. I don't want to give up RMS because it works well and I have too much invested. I don't want to use Nitrosell for the online store because it's too expensive and I like the total control I can get with Zen Cart. I see that X-Cart is able to integrate with RMS using some third-party applications. Any ideas on this issue? I don't want to switch to X-Cart, but should I consider it?

Spend a serious amount of time in evaluation before you make a decision. Many of these "integrations" are incredibly weak and riddled with problems.

I'm in the same boat, with Artisan Deluxe POS for a large arts cooperative. I'd like to sync Artisan with ZenCart so we don't have to do data entry twice for everything that enters and leaves the store, but I haven't found any modules written for this software. If anyone has an answer, please post here!
