How do you display sub category names as default on the side box

At the moment by default navigation in the side box lists only the categories.

I want categories AND the sub categories displayed as navigation in the side box.


Where would I have to look?

There are several category modules in the download section, one of them is called expanded category tree or something like that. It may help.

I have installed this mod but it list every product individually within the navigation side box. All I want is as per attached to be viewed as default. There must be settings somewhere surely.
