adding "Join Email List" code to the footer

hello all. hopefully some kind person can assist me:

i have an html code snippet that a email management service has provided. id like to insert it into in to the footer around the same area as the copyright info. anyone know what file i need to modify to do that? i didnt find a tpl_footer file in my template if that makes a difference .

hi, the tpl_footer.php is in includes/templates/yourtemplate/common folder
or copy it from includes/templates/template_default/common to your template
