Can I add a center box?

I'd love to be able to add a box that matches my side boxes in the center of my page -to place my welcome message in. Can someone walk me through this process, or point me in the right direction please?

Thank you Misty, but what would I need to do to actually create the box? I have tried copying and pasting css codes into a "practice box" online, but I'm not getting anything....

LOL! I would have figured that out once I got there and been really frustrated that I had put so much into the CSS! Thanks! Working on HTML now =)
