How To Add Category ?

On my home page I only have 1 Category box but I need 3 Category Boxes , so I can seperate the different kind of products.

I have tried searching the forums and also spent 5 hours on my site to try and work this out and still could not work how to do it.

Please could someone give me any advice on how I would do this. I have tried and tried and still don't know where and How I would do it. Any help would be really appreciated.

So,
Admin panel/ catalog/ catalog & products/

click on new category and create your new category
they click new product on this category and fill out the fields

Hello, thanks for help.

I know tho how to add products and and new categories there for products that is not the problem tho, you know the home page cartegory where you can see your products on home page. Well thats where I need to add another 2 category coloums.

So for example, I have Guitar, Amp & Accesories

So First Category Guitar with all products in there, then underneath that a seperate category colounm For Amps and products would be in there etc.

I need to add that kind of category box ^^ not the one on products
