Westpac (Australia) Payway

Does anybody know of there is a payment gateway module for Westpac's Payway system?

If so, can you please point it out for me! I was unable to find it in the "Free Software Add Ons" and only found old posts in the forum!

Bah! I continued my search and I think I found the answer. There appears to be one such module...

"Paystation"

OK, here's my followup question... does anybody have experience using the Paystation module to process payments via Westpac and if so, how does it run?
(compared to other banks too if you have the experience!)

Seems there is one for Westpac's old system but I dont know if Payway uses the same API

The old one didn't work, we paid a programmer to create the API, happy to share the contact details, price is reasonable and it works brilliantly. Thanks

Hi guys,

Apologies for the extremely late reply, I haven't been building shopping carts for a good few months now.

The customer I referred to in my previous email ended up changing banks to ANZ so I never pursued the issue any further. Still, it would be great if someone could provide info on Westpac's Payway system for future reference!

We used Payway Westpac for about 6 months. It was hell, their support was terrible, the program didn't work properly after an upgrade and they never acknowledged there were any issues. They never took any responsibility and we were left in the lurch loosing a few thousand dollars in sales. Not only that when we decided we had had enough we got a much better rate with ANZ and they had less fees for their egate. My advise never ever go with Westpac. It is pretty bad when you bank manager tells you to complain to the financial ombudsman!
