How do I change the stock quantity without editing the product?

Is there a way to easily change the quantity in stock without having to go to Admin > Catalog > Categories/Products and clicking on each individual product to change the quantity on hand?

I know I can also go to the Products Price Manager, but then there's a lot of scrolling.

Seems like there's a steps and clicks involved just to change a number.

I'm using version 1.3.8a

There is a SQL statement you can use to reset all products, or those meeting certain criteria, to a certain stock level. It could be massaged to apply to only one product; however, manipulating the database directly has the potential for instant catastrophe if you make a mistake.

No, I wouldn't want to do anything risky like that. I was just hoping there was a way I could list all my products by their stock number, and then in that list mode edit the quantities in stock (or anything else like the title or price, for that matter) and then hit submit without going into the editing of the individual product.

Sorry, that's not available. It would be really handy...

I think some people use EasyPopulate for this, exporting the products to a spreadsheet, editing en masse and reimporting them.
