Downloadable Products Directory Does not Exist

OK I'm going insane! I moved my downloads folder to my root to have better security per the info in the FAQ. Now I can't get it to point to that directory!!! here's my site

I would appreciate any help I could get. I've already edited both of the configure.php files to look like this.

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'home/digiscr1/download/'); 

is this the only code that has to be changed? Or am I missing something.

ACK, well seems I've stumped everyone....or not posted in the correct place. I just decided to scrap moving the folder and take the default with redirect since I'm on a linux server. It recognized my file and gave me a green light but now that stupid message is stuck at the top of my site even though I have returned the config.php files to their original state. Any ideas?
