when adding item to cart, screen goes blank

I'm developing a store and im having a major problem. when i click on the add to my cart button, instead of showing the cart with the item in it, it goes to a blank page. but if you hit the back button in the browser, it shows up in the cart in the sidebar of the site. if you go to the following link and add an item to the cart you will be able to see what i mean.

i installed hte debug utility, and the error log i get is

what i don't understand is i didn't make any abnormal changes to the english.php, i didn't change any of the code and i have never touched the functions_general.php file.

"abnormal changes" ... perhaps you didn't intentionally do anything abnormal, but it seems your editor did.
As per the FAQ article, you've likely got extra blank lines at the end of the file.
