help question Please help! Had first order and something messed up!

So I had my first order on my website after only being up for 2 days!

    Which made me excited.

Well I THOUGHT that I had all payment types turned off except for PayPal.

Well the first order that came through somehow the user used the "pay with credit card" option.

I took 2 screen shots so that you can see how I have it set up and how the order went through.

I tested this site thoroughly as well as PayPal payments with sandbox.

The customers order showing it's a CC payment lo anm oda ssi sta nt .com/images/zen1.gif
Showing that I have everything turned off loa nmo das sis tant .com/images/zen2.gif

Link to me loa nmo das sist ant .com/cart/

I don't see an error or anything that is wrong with the screen shots. Did you check your PayPal account to see if you received the money? or did you authorize payment yet?

Oh, maybe I'm just confused then. When I tested with sandbox, I swear when I payed with paypal, i didnt have to do anything as an zencart admin, it just put the money in my paypal account.

Do I have to do something now in zencart so it sends something to paypay?

When I looked at the order, it looks like zencart took it as a credit card payment, NOT as a paypal payment, because it says "cc" not "paypal"

and the payment still isnt in my paypal account.

I could ask the customer how they payed, but trying to look like a real website and figure it out on my side first without asking the customer.

So am i correct that zen-cart somehow allowed this as a credit card payment or something or is this how a paypal payment looks?

Default I clearly have Credit Cards turned off and my customer just ordered with one

My Zencart is at www.loa nmo das sis tan t DOT com/cart/

showing that credit card payments was in fact turned off: loa nmo da ssi st ant .com /images/zen2.gif

showing her order lo anm odas sis tant .com/images/zen1.gif

which does she checked out with a "credit card" payment.

Date Purchased: Wednesday 19 November, 2008
    Payment Method: Credit Card

I have the most current version of zencart. No custom code.

How do i fix this so it doesnt happen again? Is there some other spot that I need to turn off credit cards other than payment modules or is it a bug?

Yes, you have the module installed but disabled. However, there is an occasional quirk that can sometimes cause the module to be used even when disabled.

So ... to save yourself the trouble, click on the "Remove" option to stop the module from being available.

    Thanks :)

I posted it under bugs and 1 persons solution was to remove the module, which i did.

I guess "turn off" doesnt ALWAYS turn it off. hehehe.

    Off means not-selectable by customers.
Removed means Removed, and unusable by the program.

To some that's a bug. To others it's a needed feature used for specific purposes.
