Alignment issue in IE - Header and left column

Working on a custom site, trying to get the header bg to align with the left column bg to create a logo that spans both for cosmetic reasons.

In IE 7 there is a white line / break through the logo.

Looks great in Firefox and Safari. Plese help. I'm going crazy trying to fix it.

I think your issue lie in the following portion of your stylesheet

#navColumnOneWrapper, #navColumnTwoWrapper, #mainWrapper {
margin:auto;
}

Seperate #navColumnOneWrapper from the other two, and define the margin to 0. Should fix it..

you may want to try>>
ie7
*+html body #contentMainWrapper{ margin-top:-2px;}

it also broken in ie6
*html body #contentMainWrapper{ margin-top:-2px;}

if -2px doesn't do the trick, try 3, 4 ...

from what i am seeing, you do not use any div around the top image?
do not leave it(img) un-wrap ie will be freaked out!
and if you change let say line-height, the space might come back.
