After I have made the minor changes in the two config files for going ssl when in shopping cart or admin why is nothing changing? If I sign directly to my admin site via https:// then it does go via ssl.
However, it is not going secure when I select "log in" for the shopping cart.
Any ideas?

make the need changes in the >admin>includes>config.php Think you may have missed something. Also the login is the secure part of the admin section...you can force the whole admin into ssl in that file.
