Got a bit of a problem here.
My cache directory /public_html/cache/
Keeps filling up with a lot of files with names like query_selects_index_1226918553.txt
There are thousands of these files and they keep being created until my hosting space is totally used up.
Store Page Parse Time is set to false
and
Store Database Queries is also false
help please..

Those query-logging files are only generated if you have "Store Database Queries" enabled.

I figured that. And I've tried turning that setting on and off and on and off etc etc but the files keep getting created regardless

So, that makes it much more complicated ...
What version of Zen Cart? What version(s) has it been upgraded from?
How did you install it in the first place?
What patches have you applied?
What addons do you have installed?
What version of PHP?
What version of MySQL?
Is your server running Linux or Windows?
What kinds of customizations have you made to your site and why?
In what ways are the files on your site different from a brand new uncustomized set of Zen Cart files?.
