From tutorial need clarification
But Zen Cart saysI am setting up two Zen Carts and would like to use the same Paypal account for both. Is this possible?
Yes it is. When you set up the PayPal parameters for each of your Zen Cart sites you can give them the same email account (and/or API credentials) used for your single PayPal account.
Zen Cart will automatically tell PayPal the address of your store when a payment is submitted, so that the correct store is notified of transaction updates.
The only setup you need to do is make sure that the "Instant Payment Notification" (IPN) setting is enabled in your PayPal account profile under Website Payment Receiving Preferences, as explained in the PayPal setup/troubleshooting guide. Many people wonder what to do about specifying the Return URL or Notification URL. Set the URLs to the appropriate address for *one* of your stores. It must point to a valid address. But when processing transactions from your various Zen Cart stores, the appropriate address for each store will be substituted automatically.Ok my second cart is at http://www.website.com/anotherfolder/ do I put where do I put http://www.website.com/anotherfolder...in_handler.php in PayPal* set your Instant Payment Notification Preferences URL to: http://www.website.com/cart/ipn_main_handler.php
(If another URL is already used, you may leave it alone.)
Be sure that the Checkbox to enable IPN is checked!
* in Website Payments Preferences set your Automatic Return URL to: http://www.website.com/cart/index.ph...eckout_process
Also the auto return is always going to go back to the cart/index.php?main_page=checkout_process because that is what is setup on PayPal and I do not see anywhere to setup another one.
When I talked to PayPal they gave me something about setting up site variables which Zen Cart already passes.
A little confused here. Please clarify this.
Thanks,
C
