can not enter the main page

Hello.
Im working on test shop on local server. I have installed zen cart with following all the rules for override.
i have added french language pack and captcha also , added a single test product . however , i just noticed , my test shop is not entering into main page. as soon as i get to the site , i end up on product description for the single test product that i have entered .
i can navigate through the site. but even when i click on home link , i get to the main product description .

There has been no modification to core of zen cart .
i have clread catch and done everything i could think of , but is just wondering what might be the problem ?

Ok , disregard this please.
problem was , i created the products without creating category so shop was defaulting to product description ..

sorry .. duhh moments..
