No Access to admin

Hi

I have moved our zen cart to a different server.

I followed the steps from this link

and i also uploaded the fix_cache_key.php and accessed this file in browser. The results where
No changes required.
Exiting.

Everything has gone well accept i cannot access the admin folder.

It time out. There are no errors displayed. I checked the cinfigure table in the databas and the only thing I noticed was the STORE_PAGE_PARSE_TIME_LOG confguration value has a directory path from the old server.

/home/.economized/paulaasple/mabelandviolet.com/cache/page_parse_time.log

Is there anything else i can do to fix this issue?

I am really stuck on this so any help would be greatfully appre ciated

Did you install zen cart on new server and then moved your files ? or just moved old zen cart to new host ???

if you moved the old zencart to new host .. then make sure you change the path to admin in admin/include/ configure.php..

this file contains the path to http , https , and your admin folder .

it should reflect the path structure on your new server .

Hi

I installed a new version on the server and then copied the files from the old server all accept the config file and the admin config file.

I just noticed that when i installed the zen cart using the new hosting control panel all the paths have a douible forward slash.

ie. http://mabelandviolet.com//index.php.

I checked the admin config file
define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', /'/admin/');
define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '//');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_ADMIN', '//admin/');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '//');

I took out one of the forward slashes and it now works.

Would you know why there is 2 forwards slashes and how can i fix this?

this is not issue with zen cart , it might be issue with your new host and their root configuration .

contact them and asked about // appearing in your path.
specially if you have dedicated SSL..
it also might be shared SSL redirect issue if you are using shared SSL.

sure someone with more experience on this matter would help you out here on zen cart forum

In both config files some of the paths had //. I have changed to / and all works.

yes. that will work. again , you may want to check with your host.
if you decide to install some add ons , to zen cart that require to validate path generated by your server .. you might have the same issue again and again ..
